AED9.00

Artiz 10 mg is an antihistamine tablet used to relieve allergy symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose, itchy or watery eyes, and skin hives. Suitable for adults and children over 6, it provides 24-hour relief from seasonal allergies and chronic urticaria.

Ingredients:cetirizine dihydrochloride

Description

Artiz 10 mg is an oral antihistamine medication containing cetirizine dihydrochloride, a second-generation H₁ receptor antagonist. It is commonly prescribed to treat symptoms caused by various allergic conditions, including seasonal allergic rhinitis (hay fever), perennial allergic rhinitis, chronic urticaria (hives), and other skin-related allergic reactions.

Cetirizine works by blocking histamine, a chemical the body produces during allergic reactions. Unlike first-generation antihistamines, cetirizine has a low sedative effect and is less likely to cause drowsiness, making it ideal for daytime use.

Each tablet provides 24-hour relief, with noticeable effects typically beginning within one hour of ingestion. It helps reduce sneezing, nasal congestion, itchy throat, runny nose, red or itchy eyes, and skin rash or itchiness caused by allergies.

Artiz 10 mg is suitable for adults and children over 6 years old, with adjusted dosing for younger individuals. It can be taken with or without food and is well-tolerated in most individuals, though mild side effects such as headache, fatigue, or dry mouth may occasionally occur.

Because of its effectiveness and convenience (once-daily dosing), Artiz is widely used for managing both acute allergy flare-ups and long-term allergic conditions.
